1
Kill Bill vol. 1 & vol. 2 (Quentin Tarantino)

"That woman deserves her revenge and we deserve to die."

2
In the mood for love (Wong Kar-Wai)

"They went up a mountain, found a tree, carved a hole in it, and whispered the secret into the hole. Then they covered it with mud. And leave the secret there forever."

3
El viaje de Chihiro (Hayao Miyazaki)

"For some reason, I can remember Haku... from a long time ago... but I thought I never met him before! "

4
Olvídate de mí (Michel Gondry)

"...Our files are confidential Mr. Barish so we can't show you any evidence. Suffice it to say, Miss Kruczynski was not happy and she wanted to move on. We provide that possibility."

5
Mullholland Drive (David Lynch)

"When you see the girl in the picture that was shown to you earlier today, you will say, "this is the girl". The rest of the cast can stay, that's up to you. But that lead girl is "not" up to you. Now you will see me one more time, if you do good. You will see me, two more times, if you do bad. Good night."

6
24 hour party people (Michael Winterbottom)

"And tonight something equally epoch-making is taking place. See? They're applauding the DJ. Not the music, not the musician, not the creator, but the medium. This is it. The birth of rave culture. The beatification of the beat. The dance age. This is the moment when even the white man starts dancing. Welcome to Manchester."

7
Dogville (Lars von Trier)

"There's a family with kids. Do the kids and make the mother watch. Tell her you'll stop if she can hold back her tears. I owe her that. "

8
Master and Commander (Peter Weir)

"England is under threat of invasion, and though we be on the far side of the world, this ship is our home. This ship is England."

9
El truco final. El prestigio (Christopher Nolan)

"Now you're looking for the secret. But you won’t find it because of course, you're not really looking. You don't really want to work it out. You want to be fooled. "

10
Buenas noches y buena suerte (George Clooney)

"This instrument can teach, it can illuminate; yes, and it can even inspire. But it can do so only to the extent that humans are determined to use it to those ends. Otherwise it is merely wires and lights in a box. Good night, and good luck. "

11
Toy Story 2 (Lasseter/Rannon/Unkrich)

"How long will it last, Woody? Do you really think Andy is going to take you to college, or on his honeymoon? Andy's growing up, and there's nothing you can do about it. It's your choice, Woody. You can go back, or you can stay with us and last forever. You'll be adored by children for generations."

12
Déjame entrar (Tomas Alfredson)

"Yes. It's just I've been twelve for a very long time. "

13
Amelie (Jean Pierre Jeunet)

"The fool looks at a finger that points at the sky."

14
El fin del romance (Neil Jordan)

"I've only made two promises in my life. One was to marry Henry, the other is to stop seeing you. And I'm too weak to keep either."

15
Zodiac (David Fincher)

"I... I Need to know who he is. I... I need to stand there, I need to look him in the eye and I need to know that it's him."

16
Match Point (Woody Allen)

"It would be fitting if I were apprehended... and punished. At least there would be some small sign of justice - some small measure of hope for the possibility of meaning. "

17
Pozos de ambición (Paul Thomas Anderson)

"There's a whole ocean of oil under our feet! No one can get at it except for me! "

18
The Filth and the Fury (Julien Temple)

"All's I can tell you is I could take on England, but I couldn't take on one heroin addict."

19
La Pianista (Michel Haneke)

"Generations of laryngologists toiled over Beethoven's last quartets. Now, at best, academics stamp their feet in time to the trumpety-trumps of Bruckner."

20
Lost in Translation (Sofia Coppola)

"So bad. What kind of restaurant makes you cook your own food?"
